I'm so late, I know.

I find it hard to update my blog daily as I'm always finding ways to keep myself distracted. Nevertheless, this weekend was filled with excitement. Friday my friend Andrea came in from San Jose to go exploring with me. We had a great time rock climbing around China Beach in the sea cliff district.

lots of cave structures can be found surrounding the beach. In fact, most coastal areas around the bay can be rich with tide pools and caves! Kirby Cove is one of my favorite spots. Caves always fascinate me because of their complexity. The way water seeps from the top of them down to the ground.. the slight algae that grows on the side.. and the sharp rocks that create the foundation. One day I will create a whole post solely on them.

That night me and Gordon went to the chapel in mission to mourn the loss of our friends Andrea and Jessica! They didn't pass away, but they flew back to Peru to return home from their three month exchange program. It was great to show them around San Francisco and teach them a little bit about the city. Gordon and I plan on visiting Peru this summer to visit them and get some authentic Peruvian food.

Saturday night was a wild one. I picked Gordon up from the world famous KFC that I used to work at and he still resides. We went down to Fishermans Wharf in hopes of gettign dinner but ended up doing something much better.. going on a mini cruise! For a fair price we went on a 1 hour cruise around the bay. It was my first time going underneath the golden gate which was quite the experience. The way the light shines down onto the water and creates a golden aurora, while the smells of the salty ocean water spalsh up against the boat while dope west coast music is playing is something I wish I could have every night. The rest of that night is a blur.

Sunday my brother Alonzo came out from Fairfield and we went to Haight st then Ocean beach Sutro Baths for the sunset. We got dinner at the beautiful (and expensive) Cliff House with this view:
